When the hand strikes 12 tonight,it would mark the start of a new year.
The year 2007.
Looking back on the year 2006,I would say they've been a rather eventful year.
The start of the year 2006 was like the previous years.
I looked forward to the same stuff I'd been looking forward to.
The coming to school early,going to class early and chatting up with friends and not forgetting to COPY homework.I'm probably going to miss this routine in the coming year.
However,as the year went on and the O levels approaching,the teachers also got busier preparing us for the all important Os.
They hit the ground running as soon as the new school term had started.
However,I did not take heed.I was still slacking up till the mid-years.Where after attaining a score of 40,I was shook awake.But by then I would say that it was too late to catch up for the prelims.
Thus I studied for the prelims with the Os in sight.
That was ultimate aim.
For the prelims I managed a score of 25.It was not good enough for admittance to a JC.
However,I feel that I took the Os in a much better state than the prelims.
So hopefully I did well for it.I really regretted not hit the ground running and see the importance of the Os earlier.
If only I had known,I definately would not make the same mistake.
I'm not going to make the same mistakes twice.
Apart from studies,I will also be missing the after school soccer almost everyday with my friends.
Again the after school soccer started in Secondary 1.We would play after school almost everyday.
This was the trend that continued throughout my Secondary school life.Even though we got seperated in Secondary 3,we still managed to play together.
I will definately be missing playing soccer together.
I would also miss chatting with my friends and making fun of each other.
The laughter and all.
From Secondary 1 to Secondary 4,I feel that I've matured though it is not that much,but I dare say I've matured a little.The friends that I have is probably the reason why.Although I'm still like a young kid playing a fool all the time.
For all I've said so far,
I've 2 wishes for the following year,2007.
(These wishes will be brought forward to the next year if it is not realised.)
1st: To have the strength and determination to give my all in my studies.
Well the second does not have anything to do with studies.
2nd: To know how you feel about me.
I don't know how you seeing my 2nd wish would affect you or change the friendship we have now but I want to let you know that I still like you.The past few days has made that feeling stonger.
As the song on my blog,It ends tonight.
I'm telling you how I feel tonight.
These are my two wishes for the year 2007.
My resolutions?
I only have 1.
To study harder and give my best in what ever things I do.
