Argh!....
Where got such thing....England i felt was the better team with 11 or 10 throughout the match...everyone played brilliantly...I was very sure that england wld win the game...they attacked more than any of the other matches...there were more heart pumping moments....the game was very even...and was tipping englands way until rooney's sending off....i dunno if it was for the stomp or the push on ronaldo...
if it was the push on ronaldo..i wld say it was damn harsh....haiz.....but england held on for abt 30 mins with ten men...they dug deep and managed to get the match to extra time...for the extra time period...the portual team attacked...but were only allowed space to shoot from distance as england closed them well...but england did not sit back for the full of extra time..instead they too had chances...aaron lennon was fantastic...but no one cld break the deadlock...then it was down to penalties...and i thought to myself...england does not have much good penalty takers..having seen rooney sent off...to make matters worse,lampard,gerrad, players i tot wld normally put away a penalty with ease missed...then when i saw jamie cara i tot..right...a decisive spot kick to be taken from a defender...and sure enuff...he missed...
my heart sank right to the bottom....it was a very bad feeling la..it was as if i was there...but it was that bad...tears started to well up in my eyes...engalnd surely deserves better than that...i was very disappointed...very very...tear-ed myseld to sleep...it was hard to really swallow at that point of time....

oh well...at least positives could be taken from the game...and i guess england players have to pick themselves up and do well in the Euro 2008 in switzerland...hahas...looking forward to that with new england manager steve maclaren...
